Specific intensity spectra

Specific intensity spectra, which are also known as ‘full radiation field’, are the spectra for several values for the angle mu.

FITS files

The spectra are stored in a 2D FITS image, where one axis is the wavelength (as defined in the FITS header) and the other one is mu, which is given in a FITS extension called “MU”.

The header keywords are essentially the same as for the high resolution spectra, as can be found here.
