Unfortunately it seems that some of the FITS headers in the files are wrong. All the units are given in [cgs], so:
- The mass (PHXMASS) is given in grams.
- The luminosity (PHXLUM) is given in erg/s.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

We just made specific intensity spectra (a.k.a. the ‘full radiation field’) for all models in the base grid (i.e. [alpha/Fe]=0) available for download. They span the wavelength range from 500 to 26000 Angstrom with a sampling of 1 Angstrom. We provide the spectra for 78 different values for the angle mu.
Furthermore we’ve convolved those specific intensity spectra with commonly used filters to be used for limb darkening applications. The results are also available for download. In case you need different filters, please send us their response curves.
After some considerations we’ve decided to allow FTP access for the download of the spectra. From now on, both the high and the medium resolution spectra are available via FTP at:
ftp://phoenix.astro.physik.uni-goettingen.de/
If there are any problems, please let us know.
Unfortunately there has been an error in the published paper. The reference that we give for the STELIB is obviously wrong, the correct one is this:
STELIB: A library of stellar spectra at R ~ 2000 Le Borgne, J.-F.; Bruzual, G.; Pelló, R.; Lançon, A.; Rocca-Volmerange, B.; Sanahuja, B.; Schaerer, D.; Soubiran, C.; Vílchez-Gómez, R., 2003, A&A 402, 433 ADS: 2003A&A...402..433L
The astro-ph version has already been corrected, but it was too late for the A&A publication…
We have just uploaded an update to the server that consists of two parts:
The new spectra are available individually in high resolution and have been added to the archives with the medium resolution spectra.
Last week we noticed that all the interpolated spectra in the library are missing in the download section. We are currently working on an update and will publish those spectra on this website soonish.
